Vollmer and Bell engage in a despicable display of anti-democratic behavior

In Our Opinion:

George Bell

  • Specialty: insurance saleman
  • Current occupation: financial planner for fidelity investments with a personal bankruptcy and a $4K felony on his recor

David Vollmer

  • Specialty: village idiot
  • Lifetime occupation: trust fund baby with extreme popularity on glassdoor

03/15/2023. Vollmer and Bell engage in a despicable display of anti-democratic behavior, striking down their opponents on mere technicalities in a blatant power grab. Their dictatorial move is nothing short of a disgraceful attack on the democratic process.

On March 15th, 2023, the notorious duo, David Vollmer and George Bell, who are known associates of Ted Gardella, and unelected yet appointed township supervisors gunning for a 6-year term, brazenly hired a pair of lawyers from Smith Buckowski of Wyomissing in a bid to eliminate their competition and seize victory without a proper election:

  • Every candidate opposing Vollmer and Bell was targeted: this transparently exposes that the challenge is not to uphold the law, but a malicious scheme to eradicate competition
  • The challenges were utterly baseless and devoid of merit: rooted in petty technicalities (such as non-chronological signatures)

In a truly dictatorial manner, Bell and Vollmer aimed to strip away the right to run for public office from anyone daring to defy them. They’re undermining the very essence of democracy and blatantly violating the spirit of fair competition.

These shameless manipulators even had the audacity to terrorize the candidates they served with a bold-faced lie — claiming that they would be on the hook for all court costs incurred. This vile deception was deliberately crafted to scare candidates into skipping their court appearances and bowing out of the race.

Fueled by the BIG MONEY backing them, Bell and Vollmer are petrified of those seeking to govern for the taxpayers’ benefit and exercise fiscal responsibility for the advantage of ALL — ultimately putting an end to the corruption that funnels the township’s resources into their pockets.

  • The $80 million Promenade Project was scrapped yet someone is trying to revive it for $100m
  • Someone holds a lucrative contract for the Reading Country Club, ensuring that taxpayers foot the bill for everything, while sharing none of the profits
  • ERCCP is hell-bent on monopolizing the township so a select few can exploit a $20 million facility, leaving taxpayers to bear the brunt of all costs

Gardella, Bell, and Vollmer are cut from the same cloth – they’re all despicable individuals seeking to manipulate the system for their own benefit.
