For the past few years, we have observed Exeter Township\u2019s Board of Supervisors and solicitor with increasing concern, hoping for a change in leadership to enhance the overall competence and integrity of the administration.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Despite our hopes, the situation has only deteriorated.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We have had discussions on various individuals, including Piho<\/a>, Hamm, Schnee<\/a>, and Bell<\/strong>, highlighting the issues associated with their tenures. Before them, we have suffered the antics of Gardella, who attempted to tarnish an opponent’s reputation with falsehoods, and his associate Foy<\/a>, who lied on his resume and had a very public meltdown<\/strong>, only added to the ongoing issues. The situation was further exacerbated by Schnee’s wife, Nurse Emily Diehm, and her slanderous actions<\/a>, along with Schnee’s numerous fake online identities.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We believed we had seen the worst of Exeter’s governance and anticipated that any new leadership would be beneficial for the taxpayers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unfortunately, we were wrong. Piho’s<\/a> election has led to even deeper levels of dysfunction.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Notably, Schnee<\/a> was not dismissed<\/strong> and continued to misuse taxpayer money to ostracize anyone challenging his incompetence. Bell was appointed supervisor through questionable means<\/strong>, and no competent township manager was hired<\/strong>. Instead, an incapable individual now perpetuates the bureaucratic inefficiencies plaguing Exeter’s government. The Reading Country Club remains a financial disaster<\/strong>, with the failed RHM partnership adding to the burden. Taxes have risen by 25%<\/strong>, and with annual expenditures exceeding $15 million against revenues of $12 million, the funds from the Water Plant sale are depleting rapidly, foreshadowing further tax increases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moreover, the promised civility and professionalism from Piho<\/a> have not materialized.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n

Piho<\/a> consistently lies, displays condescension in public meetings, and obstructs the contributions<\/strong> of Supervisor Hughes, the only responsible voice in the room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The common thread among these individuals<\/strong>\u2014Gardella, Galtere (Piho\u2019s <\/a>campaign manager), Foy<\/a>, Schnee<\/a>, and Bell\u2014is their mediocrity<\/strong> and dishonesty<\/strong>. From Gardella\u2019s tarnished career in the Michigan School System to Foy\u2019s fabricated resume, Bell’s nepotism-related corruption, and Schnee’s<\/a> malpractice dismissal from Tucker-Hull, the caliber of leadership is deeply troubling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We suspect that certain local business interests might benefit from installing such mediocre leadership<\/strong> to advance their own agendas. However, even these stakeholders must realize that the current administration’s incompetence and dishonesty are unsustainable and will eventually harm business, regardless of its nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, what drives these individuals? Schnee<\/a> appears financially dependent on taxpayer money, exemplified by his excessive billing practices. Bell, whose professional life has been unimpressive, seems driven by a desire for power, as evidenced by his behavior in meetings. Piho<\/a>, perhaps using his engineering small business as a front, appears to benefit from unexplained financial discrepancies at the Reading Country Club, raising questions about fiscal responsibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are tired of the incompetence and corruption. Exeter deserves better leadership. It is time for Piho<\/a>, Schnee<\/a>, and Bell to step down. We demand accountability and a return to ethical governance.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
